Analysis and Human Capital Solutions.  Harkcon provides human capital and performance analysis to a broad spectrum of government and commercial customers across domestic and international programs.  Our analysts are experts at conducting organizational analysis, manpower requirement analysis, gap analysis, business process reengineering, project management, competency modeling and management, other technical analyses, and program support services.  Harkcon has executed several major analysis contracts in the past 6 years in addition to literally “writing the book” for the U.S. Coast Guard by developing the service’s Standard Operating Procedures for conducting staffing analysis.  A recent example, Harkcon is currently conducting a comprehensive Job Task Analysis of 13 different job series working for the FBI’s Human Resources Division.  Our analytical teams work closely and in many cases can simply transition over to creating the products recommended from the analysis.  Our analytical staff is further supported with process tools that support rapid and very accurate data collection, process outputs that support sound decision-making and scalable/customizable formats that enable us to fit the tool to the client.  Additionally, our executive teams create and provide specialized executive leadership and coaching solutions.

Training and Instructor Development Support. In addition to our robust analysis qualifications, Harkcon’s instructional systems designers and performance technologists design, develop, implement, and evaluate a full range of training and performance support solutions.  These include traditional instructor-led training in both resident and mobile team variants, synchronous and asynchronous computer/web-based training, simulation and emulation systems, and blended training programs that incorporate multiple delivery methods.  Depending on customer requirements, our training products include electronic performance support systems, job aides, and complete training support packages that typically include fully developed instructor and student guides, checklists, job aids, and test batteries.  We also provide expert coaching and assistance to help our customers develop technical experts into accomplished instructors by providing instructor development training and coaching that supports transition of subject matter experts to effective podium and technology-based instructional staff.
