Overview

We are looking for skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians to become a part of our dynamic team! As a light manufacturing company operating in a climate-controlled environment, we specialize in producing contactless payment cards for our valued customers!!

$5,000 sign on bonus payment for Maintenance Technician new hires only.

    The $5,000 bonus payment will be paid on the payroll after the completion of 6 months of employment.

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will oversee the setup and maintenance of our industrial machinery. In this position, you will be vital in ensuring the smooth functioning of our equipment. Your duties will include installing new machines, performing regular maintenance, and troubleshooting any equipment malfunctions.

To thrive in this role, you should have a strong mechanical background in industrial systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage your time effectively. A top-notch Industrial Maintenance Technician is crucial for boosting productivity by ensuring that all production equipment runs efficiently and is well-maintained.

Starting at $24.00 plus an hour, depending on experience.



Responsibilities

The role of the Industrial Maintenance Technician is vital for the seamless functioning of all production and facility equipment through a combination of preventative, predictive, and routine maintenance practices. This position involves a diverse array of machinery, such as presses, imaging lines, die cutters, compressors, HVAC systems, affixing equipment, chillers, humidification systems, cutters, packaging lines, and conveyors.

Beyond maintenance duties, the technician is responsible for diagnosing and fixing any problems that may occur with production and facility equipment. This requires a solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems, including motors, drives, pumps, and control devices.

Additionally, the technician will support the installation of new machinery and the relocation of existing equipment. Their role also includes performing maintenance and repairs related to carpentry, painting, building upkeep, and other facility tasks as necessary.

Expertise in operating welding equipment, drill presses, grinders, hand tools, and various metalworking machines is crucial. The technician will utilize a computerized maintenance management system to optimize operations.

Teamwork is essential, as the technician will collaborate with colleagues and other departments to improve quality, performance, and productivity. A willingness to accept feedback from management and peers is important for ongoing development.

Ensuring a safe and tidy working environment in both the plant and office spaces is a top priority. The technician will also take part in special projects as needed and carry out additional related responsibilities



Qualifications

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; Technical education is preferred.
  • You should have at least 3 years plus of experience in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, and basic electrical repair. Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
  • You need strong skills in analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • You must be able to read and understand documents and drawings.
  • Familiarity with basic office software is important, and you should be able to learn maintenance software for data entry and parts research.
  • Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary.
  • You should be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • You must be able to lift 40 lbs.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
