We're looking for a Director to lead a brand new Data Product and Privacy team. The ideal candidate will be someone who can lead the strategy of transforming our data into a product that can power automation and AI use cases to allow us to lower the price of Velocity and expand its impact on Capital One at large. In addition to setting strategy, the Data Product and Privacy Lead will be responsible for driving tactical implementation of building out new data products and ensuring that our data remains well managed. This includes blazing a trail as one of Capital One's first businesses to be in scope for GDPR compliance. Your work with Legal and Compliance to improve our GDPR program will open doors for future international expansions. The data strategy lead will be expected to build out a new team of 3-5 associates ranging from data product managers, to data engineers, and project managers. The role is a great mix of high impact strategy, product management, and tactical execution that would set you up well as the type of general manager that thrives at Capital One (and beyond). The team has a fun, fast paced culture, and the product enjoys a ton of executive engagement from senior stakeholders (and customers). Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Sales Territory: $205,400 - $234,400 for Director, Product Management Richmond, VA: $205,400 - $234,400 for Director, Product Management New York, NY: $246,500 - $281,300 for Director, Product Management McLean, VA: $226,000 - $257,900 for Director, Product ManagementCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
