POSITION DESCRIPTION A Facility Assistant at SET Environmental is responsible for maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the waste storage areas and shop location, as well as the routine movement of containers, supplies, and equipment. Assist with the loading and unloading of containers, supplies, and equipment. Operate material-handling equipment. Maintain organization of waste storage areas. Organize and stock PPE. Maintain cleanliness of the shop location including workspaces, common areas, offices, hallways, and bathrooms. Verify that all waste items in storage have accurate shipping documents and proper labels. Work in various weather conditions. Perform other miscellaneous duties as necessary. POSITION REQUIREMENTS High school diploma or equivalent (preferred) Hold a valid Driver's License with good driving record that meets SET insurance requirements Class B CDL (preferred, with higher pay range) General knowledge of and experience using basic hand tools Forklift experience (preferred) Obtain and keep current certifications/licenses requires (i.e., forklift, 40 hour HAZWOPER, etc.) Attention to detail Ability to effectively multi-task while managing workload Work safely and follow instructions and procedures Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and moving heavy objects with proper lifting equipment Excellent communication skills Ability to speak, read, and write English sufficiently Must be flexible to changes in schedule
