Internal Product Adoption & Change Communications Specialist

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina area (primarily remote but onsite in Charlotte, NC for some meetings)

*Client job title = Product Marketing Manager

Role Overview:

The Internal Product Adoption & Change Communications Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing communications strategies that blend narrative development, digital

content management, and precise internal product positioning. Your work will center around building a centralized content hub and internal communications campaigns. This is a hands-on role that owns both the strategy and the delivery of the message. The role brings a marketer's mindset to internal adoption: positioning, messaging, and campaigns aimed at employees rather than customers.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute comprehensive targeted persona-based messaging strategies for internal and niche audience groups, ensuring messaging is tailored for the Oracle to SAP transition.

* Conduct internal audience research and data analysis to inform product positioning; leverage insights from employee feedback, behavioral data, and anecdotal insights from relationship building to refine strategies and maximize engagement.

* Engage directly with end users to understand barriers to adoption, answer questions, and gather feedback throughout the rollout.

* Oversee product messaging, content creation, and marketing collateral; manage and maintain internal communication channels and platforms, including email, live events, webinars, blogs, websites, newsletters, and SharePoint, ensuring content is relevant, timely, and aligned with business objectives.

* Write and produce campaign content directly, including emails, announcements, and hub content, and bring creative ideas for engaging internal audiences.

* Build and maintain a centralized content hub that serves as the go-to resource for employees during the transition.

* Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse internal audiences.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and the SAP implementation team to align communications with rollout milestones.

* Leverage data analytics to track and measure the success of campaigns and SAP adoption and usage.

Required Skills & Experience:

* Background as a product or growth marketer, ideally at a technology company, with hands-on campaign experience.

* Experience building persona-based positioning and messaging.

* Proven ability to influence and transform human behavior through targeted messaging, storytelling, and strategic campaigns.

* Experience driving change and adoption of new products, tools, processes, or cultural shifts through empathetic, audience-centered marketing.

* Demonstrated success in using internal blogs, websites, and SharePoint as platforms to spark engagement, build community, and sustain momentum for change.

* Experience communicating an ERP or major system migration (SAP or Oracle) is a plus.

* Experience in IT infrastructure, data or finance is a plus.

* Varied experience across industries or functions is a plus.

* Hands-on writer, comfortable producing email and campaign content without a dedicated copywriter.

* Strong writing, communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
