McKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS), which is expected to become Wellverse in early2027, is a subsidiary and publicly reported segment of the McKesson Corporation.MMS distributes medical-surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, diagnostic equipmentand supplies, along with other solutions and services to virtually every type ofhealthcare setting and provider outside of the traditional hospital. These markets - often referred to as Alternate Care or Non-Acute Care - include physician offices, surgery centers, long-term care providers, laboratories, home health and hospiceagencies, health systems, government facilities and online marketplaces and
retailers.

Alternate Care markets are growing rapidly and MMS is proud to be a leader in thisspace. With a team of approximately 8,000 employees, a network of 15 distributioncenters and approximately 900 delivery vehicles, we collaborate with more than2,200 leading manufacturers and serve over 200,000 customer accounts acrossthe U.S. Our catalog includes more than 270,000 SKUs of branded and private-label
medical-surgical products - from bandages to specialty pharmaceuticals andCOVID-19 tests.

Program Overview

McKesson's Intern program is 10 weeks long, based in Richmond, Virginia, and is designed to provide:

* A real-life working environment

* A solid foundation of experience as a McKesson employee and hopeful offer of full-time employment

* A cohort experience with other interns

* Weekly senior leadership exposure and learning experiences.

We are looking for candidates who exhibit the following behaviors:

* Willingness to learn, develop, and contribute to a fun, demanding, fast-paced environment

* Self-starter that brings both interpersonal skills and a superior ability to identify a problem then solve it

* Passion and enthusiasm for healthcare and our customers' success

While specific requirements for each role may vary, here are our general requirements:

* Enrolled as a full-time student at the time of the internship, at the Undergraduate or Graduate level

* 18 Years of age

* Authorized to work in the United States

* Major in a technical, business, technology, or analytics discipline

* Strong communication, writing and team collaboration skills

* Ability to manage priorities effectively

* Ability to analyze and aggregate data

Inside Sales

The Inside Sales Intern(s) will be responsible for engaging and prospecting decision-makers to reestablish dormant relationships while driving key sales initiatives. This is a great opportunity for rising seniors to learn about the healthcare industry, learn about products, and engage with customers.

* Conduct research on prospective clients

* Executing customer contact campaigns focused on targeted initiatives and/or reactivating dormant accounts

* Partnering with inside sales reps and manager on special projects

* Working in Salesforce.com and executing marketing and sales campaigns

* Learn the basic competencies of a medical sales representative and aid in the sales process

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
