This role requires strong research and sourcing expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to develop creative approaches to identify qualified talent in competitive and specialized markets. You will leverage market insights, sourcing tools, and recruiting data to inform search strategies, build talent pipelines, and proactively communicate progress and recommendations to recruiting partners. In this role, you will apply a consultative and resourceful approach to talent identification, recognizing that each search requires a tailored strategy. You will collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring teams to understand talent needs, explore new sourcing channels, and continuously improve sourcing effectiveness.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies to identify qualified talent for current and anticipated hiring needs.
- Conduct talent research and market mapping to identify target companies, relevant skill sets, talent pools, and potential candidate sources.
- Utilize sourcing platforms, applicant tracking systems, professional networks, and emerging technologies to identify and engage prospective candidates.
- Build, maintain, and nurture talent pipelines to support immediate hiring needs and future workforce requirements.
- Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, target candidate profiles, and market conditions.
- Engage prospective candidates through personalized outreach and networking to generate interest in RTX opportunities and establish relationships for future hiring needs.
- Evaluate candidate profiles against established job requirements and provide recruiters with relevant candidate insights and recommendations.
- Monitor sourcing activity, pipeline health, response rates, and conversion metrics to assess effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.
- Identify new sourcing channels, research methods, and tools to improve talent identification, candidate engagement, and sourcing outcomes.
- Provide regular updates on sourcing progress, market challenges, pipeline quality, and recommended adjustments to recruiting partners.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years of relevant prior experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent sourcing, recruiting, talent research, or a related talent acquisition function.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing sourcing strategies for competitive, specialized, or hard-to-fill positions.
- Experience using professional networking platforms, applicant tracking systems, sourcing tools, and talent research techniques to identify prospective candidates.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify talent market trends and translate findings into actionable sourcing strategies.
- Proven ability to build talent pipelines and engage prospective candidates through targeted outreach and relationship development.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing priorities, adapt strategies to changing business needs, and work independently with minimal oversight.
- Experience using recruiting metrics and sourcing analytics to evaluate effectiveness, identify opportunities, and improve results.
- Curiosity and willingness to explore new sourcing channels, technologies, and approaches to talent identification.
- Commitment to delivering a positive candidate experience while representing the RTX employer brand professionally.

Remote; this role may be worked anywhere in the domestic U.S. or Puerto Rico. US Citizen
