Position Summary City of Hope is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse III to join our Outpatient Genitourinary (GU) Surgical Oncology Clinic. The successful candidate will provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing evaluation, treatment, and follow-up for genitourinary cancers, with a strong emphasis on surgical and procedural patient care. This is a high-volume, procedure-focused outpatient clinic that works closely with outpatient surgeons and the multidisciplinary GU oncology team. The Clinical Nurse III will play a key role in caring for patients before and after surgical procedures, providing comprehensive education related to post-operative care, coordinating care across multiple providers and services, and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. The RN will also support the administration of physician-directed interstitial chemotherapy. The physician is present during chemotherapy administration, while the RN is responsible for administering the treatment, closely monitoring the patient during and after administration, managing symptoms and potential complications, and providing appropriate patient education and follow-up care. This is a full-time position consisting of 8-hour shifts, 5 shifts per week, on the day shift with an 8:00 or 8:30 a.m. start time.
