SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer I to join our Data Center Structured Cabling Team to review, provide analysis, management, and resolution of field coordination issues with project team members and participants. Excellent communication skills are necessary as you will interact with staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment. Your ability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality is vital to your success. Travel: 100% on a rotation Traveling Opportunities across the US Locations Include (but are not limited to): LA, NM, WY, WI, IN, MN This position offers opportunities at both levels 1 and 2, allowing candidates to apply based on their experience and qualifications. Compensation for this role is determined based on factors such as experience and location. RESPONSIBILITIES Organization, flexibility, excellent customer focus and strong communication are critical in performing duties which include, but are not limited to: Interpret project plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors and craft persons
Lead all aspects of testing and inspection processes for the construction quality management program
Handle submittals
Develop and distribute RFIs and Change Orders
Responsible for the mentoring, management, and timely performance evaluation of field engineers Other duties as assigned, including:
QUALIFICATIONS PROJECT ENGINEER I
The base pay range for this role is $84,100 - $113,500 (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan. A few benefits offered include: (for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week)
