What You'll Do:
- Integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Triaging failures
- Identifying whether defects stem from test issues or system defects
- Given the program's continuous integration environment and the requirement to test SIGINT ground processing capabilities with frequent software drops and high-complexity interfaces, the volume of automated test development and maintenance is significant and ongoing.
- Updated ICDs
- New acceptance criteria
- Evolving simulator data
- Changes to subsystem behavior
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM.
- 6+ years of professional/military experience.
- 6+ years of experience with leading technical teams or designing large-scale distributed systems.
- 6+ years of experience in software testing within IT environments with a strong focus on mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
- 6+ years of experience working with version control systems including GitHub, GitLab, SVN or TFS.
What Sets You Apart:
- Master's Degree in a STEM.
- Hands-on expertise in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD), and scripting languages like Python or Bash (Unix shell).
- Solid understanding of API testing methodologies for RESTful services; familiarity with JSON/XML data formats.
- knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB or DB2; ability to perform data analysis skills for troubleshooting issues.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban; experience with defect tracking tools like Jira or HP ALM.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis; excellent debugging skills are essential for identifying issues efficiently.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes including requirements gathering, design review, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Technical support experience related to software troubleshooting within complex system environments.
