Employment Type: Contract (12months)

Compensation: $ 67.67/hr.
Schedule: 40 hrs/Week.

What You'll Do:
  • Conduct aeros/thermal, acoustic, and structural mechanical analysis, including developing and applying numerical models, defining boundary conditions, interpreting results, and recommending design improvements.
  • Plan and support mechanical experiments and testing, including preparing test specifications, supporting test execution, validating results, and comparing findings with analytical or empirical models.
  • Own defined technical packages and engineering investigations, delivering against programme milestones while maintaining agreed cost, quality, and timescale requirements.
  • Apply technical expertise and engineering judgement to analyse complex problems, identify effective solutions, and provide technical guidance to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to engineering tools, processes, and methods, while sharing knowledge across the wider engineering team.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or Technology or Engineering or Mathematics.
  • 5+ years of experience with product integrity/liability.
  • 5+ years of experience with Ansys, Workbench, and mechanical APDL.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Master's Degree in Engineering.
  • Aerospace experience
  • Comfort presenting protected information to stakeholders
  • Ability to integrate into an already existing team
  • Good technical knowledge in mechanical design methodologies and an understanding of cross-discipline engineering concepts, which include but are not limited to manufacturing engineering, aerodynamics, thermodynamics, thermal and mechanical analysis, cost engineering, and product definition.
  • Nuclear Specific - The Mechanical Integrity engineer shall exhibit good technical knowledge in mechanical design methodologies and have an understanding of and ability to integrate cross-discipline engineering concepts which include but are not limited to manufacturing engineering, hydrodynamics, thermodynamics, Stress analysis both static and dynamic, fracture and fatigue assessment, cost engineering, Installation & Commission.
  • An ability to apply logical, analytical and innovative thinking on a range of technical problems and make balanced decisions across technical and business parameters
  • Certification frameworks.
  • In the UK - attained/ working towards Chartered (regional variations).
  • Good communication and presentation skills at all levels of the organisation.
