Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The essential job duties for this position are listed below:



  • Perform hydro tests on gas compressor components
  • Check hydro equipment to ensure that they are clean and in working order
  • Maintain detailed and accurate hydro charts
  • Ability to perform general manual labor tasks including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.
  • Ability to assist in a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed.
  • Ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Works under immediate supervision.
  • Perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Must adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Performs other functions/duties as required.



Requirements:

Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:



  • High school education (GED)
  • 2-4 years experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Basic Computer skills, and/or other required software
  • Must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within QC/Hydro department.
  • Working knowledge of pressure gauges, hydro pump and hydro chart recorder a plus
  • Understanding flange rating and pressures a plus


Working Conditions

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.



  • Work within office, assembly and fabrication shop, and field environments.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
