Classical California, a public service of the University of Southern California, seeks a meticulous, highly organized and service-oriented professional to serve as Office Manager, Radio Traffic and Continuity. Working behind the scenes, this position helps ensure underwriting and promotional messages reach listeners accurately and on schedule while supporting the systems and processes connected to more than $2 million in annual underwriting revenue.

Position Overview:

In this role, you will manage the detailed flow of orders, audio assets, traffic logs, reporting and invoicing support while also helping the San Francisco office run smoothly. Much of the work is independent and detail-focused, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving a complex puzzle, takes pride in getting every detail right and responds promptly and thoughtfully to colleagues and listeners.

This position is based in San Francisco and follows a hybrid schedule with three days on-site each week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter underwriting, sponsorship and promotional orders accurately in the radio traffic management system.

  • Schedule radio traffic and continuity, coordinate audio assets and maintain accurate production records for each new order.

  • Maintain and reconcile daily traffic logs to support month-end close and accurate invoicing.

  • Maintain organized electronic client and advertiser order records, including documentation of digital placements.

  • Prepare weekly proof-of-performance analytics, sales revenue reports and other reports or invoices as requested.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for radio traffic and continuity system questions, coordinating timely resolution when needed.

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including supplies, equipment, furniture and maintenance scheduling.

  • Support office budget administration by reconciling business expenses, processing invoices and maintaining accurate records.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to phone calls, emails, mail and listener inquiries as a primary point of contact for the San Francisco office.

  • Coordinate staff communications, travel and expense logistics, meetings and office events.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or combined experience and education as a substitute for the minimum education requirement.

  • Three years of relevant experience, including office management and budget administration.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy across high-volume, deadline-driven data and processes.

  • Strong planning, organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities independently and follow through promptly.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a responsive, service-oriented approach with colleagues, listeners and other stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and familiarity with Google Workspace tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with radio traffic and continuity operations, including scheduling underwriting, sponsorship or promotional spots.

  • Experience using radio traffic and continuity platforms; Marketron/Visual Traffic experience is a plus.

  • Experience supporting the operations of a collaborative office or media environment.
