Our Milton Campus Husky's primary United States manufacturing facility is located in Milton, Vermont on a large, beautiful campus just 30 minutes north of downtown Burlington. This 280,000 square foot bright, clean manufacturing environment is set on 700 acres of private land. Job Description Salary Range: $27 - $31 per hour Summary of Role: As a CNC Machinist, you will set up and operate CNC machining equipment to produce high-quality parts within specified tolerances. You will work from blueprints, work instructions, and established processes to machine, inspect and verify precision parts while maintaining a safe, clean and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities: *Set up and operate CNC machines such as mills, lathes, drills, grinders and other equipment. *Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work instructions. *Load materials and parts into machines and ensure proper setup prior to operation. *Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed. *Maintain tooling and select the correct tools for each operation. *Inspect completed parts using measuring instruments and gages to ensure conformance to specifications. *Perform part cleaning and finishing operations as required. *Keep work areas clean, organized and safe. *Complete production and quality documentation accurately. *Communicate equipment, tooling, quality or process concerns to supervisors and team members. *Collaborate with Team Members to meet production, quality and delivery objectives. Required Qualifications: *High school diploma or equivalent *Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work instructions *Experience setting up or operating CNC machines *Ability to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers and pin gages *Solid mechanical aptitude *Strong attention to detail, organization and time management *Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Excel, and Word) *Understand, write and speak basic and technical English *Ability to lift 40 lbs. Preferred Qualifications: *3+ years of CNC machining experience *Familiarity with G-code and CNC machine controls *Ability to write or edit CNC programs *Experience working with the metric system *Experience maintaining close tolerances *Technical education, vocational training or manufacturing certificate *Ability to work a variety of shifts if required *1 - 2 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment Husky TechnologiesTM offers a competitive compensation and benefits package and excellent opportunities for growth and advancement.
