The Pediatric Pain & Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an advanced practice provider who delivers comprehensive, family-centered care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with acute, chronic, complex, and life-limiting conditions. As a member of the interdisciplinary Pain & Palliative Care team, the NP provides expert assessment and management of pain and other distressing symptoms, facilitates goals-of-care discussions, supports complex medical decision-making, and promotes quality of life for patients and families. The NP collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to address the physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients and families through symptom management, care coordination, patient and family education, and interdisciplinary care planning. The NP practices under approved standardized procedures, promotes evidence-based care, and serves as a resource for pain management and palliative care across the continuum of care. This is a limited appointment (not to exceed 8 months) A limited appointment may convert to career Salary range: $93.81-$133.97/hourly Qualifications
