Reporting directly to the Chancellor, the General Counsel and Vice Chancellor serve as the University's chief legal counsel and a strategic advisor to University leadership. The position provides counsel to the Chancellor, Board of Trustees, senior administrators, and members of the University community while supporting FSU's mission and priorities.

About the Team
The Division of Legal, Audit, Risk and Compliance ( LARC), led by the General Counsel and Vice Chancellor for Legal, Audit, Risk and Compliance, is composed of the Office of Legal Affairs, Office of the Internal Auditor, Office of Risk and Compliance, and the Ombuds Office. The primary purpose of the Division is to assist the University in carrying out its mission by managing its ethical, legal, and regulatory responsibilities.
