SOME (So Others Might Eat) provides material aid and comfort to our vulnerable neighbors in Washington, DC, helping them break the cycle of poverty and homelessness through programs and services that save lives, improve lives, and help transform the lives of individuals and families, their communities, and the systems and structures that affect them. Our more than 30 programs throughout the district provide comprehensive services that lead to mental and physical health, continued sobriety, job training, living-wage employment, and affordable housing. We meet immediate needs with food, clothing, and healthcare, and offer the tools one needs to live with hope, dignity, and greater independence. Position Description: The Patient Service Coordinator supports the daily front desk and administrative operations of Behavioral Health Services at the Conway Center. This role greets and registers clients, directs individuals to the appropriate services, answers and routes incoming phone calls, maintains provider schedules, and completes insurance verification. The Patient Service Coordinator helps ensure an organized, welcoming, and efficient experience for clients while supporting the operational needs of the clinical team. Compensation: We offer our employees a competitive compensation and benefits package that reflects our organizational culture, mission, and core values. The hourly range for this position is $19.87 to $21.05 and may be commensurate with experience. This position is grant-funded for a period of 1 year. The position will end after 1 year unless additional grant funding is secured. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (40 hours per week). Hybrid Schedule: Monday & Friday (Telework); In-Office on Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday Required Qualifications: HS/GED; 1-3 yrs administrative experience in a Primary Care or Acute Care office Preferred Qualifications: HS/GED; 3+ years administrative experience in a Primary Care or Acute Care office; experience working with electronic health records Required License/Certification: Basic Life Support [CPR & AED] Provider Expected Contributions: Front Desk Operations

Reports To: Program Manager Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. Requires looking at a computer screen for several hours a day. May be required to sit for long periods.
