The Semi Strategic Planning team at Tesla is dedicated to shaping innovative business models and guiding the Semi Truck Business to advance Tesla's mission of accelerating the transition to sustainable energy. As a Program Manager, Semi Charging on the Semi Truck team, you will play a critical role in infrastructure planning, defining the customer charging experience, and ensuring physical charging infrastructure directly scales ahead of commercial vehicle delivery timelines. To meet the goals for this role you will need to be highly motivated with exceptional management and organizational skills. A technical background is key. Quick thinking and sound judgement under pressure is required. Finally, we are revolutionizing an entire industry with this product, bringing high motivation and excitement is a must.
What You'll Do
- Drive day-to-day execution for charging network plans, charging location prioritization, and market entry timing, collaborating closely with Network Planning and Leadership
- Own end-to-end timeline tracking for Semi charging deployment; identify risks and proactively escalate when site progress impacts vehicle delivery dates
- Act as the subject matter expert on enterprise customer charging needs, defining UI/UX requirements, reservations mechanics, and creating a seamless experience for our fleet customers
- Audit sales pipelines to ensure existing and future market growth is supported by sufficient heavy-duty charging network capacity
- Improve private charging adoption by executing sales programs and initiatives
- Maintain up-to-date customer-facing charging resources, webpages, technical one-pagers, and localized infrastructure data
- Serve as a core consulting partner to network modelers, product readiness teams, and regional sales organizations
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Engineering or Technology or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, infrastructure planning, or operations within EV charging, logistics, clean energy, or corporate project environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex programs, meet tight deployment deadlines, and keep cross-functional teams aligned
- Understanding of fleet charging landscape, electrical engineering and power electronics, EV charging design and construction
- Ability to distill asset data, station utilization reports, and project blockers into clear, actionable summaries and business justifications
- Exceptional organization skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly shifting engineering and commercial landscape

Expected Compensation
$88,000 - $162,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
