Our Milton Campus

Husky's primary United States manufacturing facility is located in Milton, Vermont on a large, beautiful campus just 30 minutes north of downtown Burlington. This 280,000 square foot bright, clean manufacturing environment is set on 700 acres of private land. It features on-site amenities for our team members and guests, and one of the strongest safety records in the industry.

Job Description

Salary Range: $23 - $26 per hour

Summary of Role: In this role, you will support a variety of manufacturing operations to help ensure high-quality products are produced safely and according to blueprint specifications. Depending on business needs and your skills, you may perform tasks such as inspection, deburring, finishing, assembly, material preparation, or machine operation. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have strong mechanical aptitude, and are interested in building a career in manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

*Perform duties as assigned according to established procedures

*Understand specifications and the desired result by reading mechanical drawings, work instructions, etc.

*Prepare materials and parts for operations.

*Operate manufacturing equipment and tools safely and effectively.

*Make any necessary adjustments to produce the desired result.

*Use measurement tools to inspect finished products and compare them with requirements to determine if the process has been completed properly.

*Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repair.

*Complete required production and quality documentation.

*Collaborate with Team Members to meet production, quality and delivery objectives.

Required Qualifications:

*High school diploma or high school equivalency required.

*Solid mechanical aptitude.

*Strong communication skills.

*Ability to operate and deliver under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

*Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Excel, and Word).

*Strong problem-solving skills.

*Strong attention to detail, organization and time management.

*Ability to handle multiple tasks and activities while prioritizing according to requirements.

*Understand, write and speak basic and technical English.

*Ability to lift 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

*Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.

*Ability to work a variety of shifts if required.

*1 - 2 years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment

No manufacturing experience? Candidates with mechanical aptitude, experience using tools, automotive experience, construction experience, technical training or a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
