Summary:
The Recruiter - Direct Labor Machinists is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and hiring skilled manufacturing talent, with a primary focus on machinists, CNC operators, production personnel, and other direct labor positions. This role will partner closely with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, build talent pipelines to ensure a best-in-class candidate experience while supporting business growth and workforce planning initiatives. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting for manufacturing environments and is passionate about connecting skilled trades talent with career opportunities.

The Recruiter - Direct Labor Machinists will also partner with the broader Human Resources Department within the areas of workforce planning, employee relations, policies and procedures, obtaining work authorizations, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities:
*Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
* Facilitates and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
*Collaborates with department managers to identify hiring criteria.
*Source and refer eligible candidates to the Hiring Manager and manage the interview and hiring process.
*Lead the interview process with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
*Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
*Develop collaborative working relationships with recruitment agencies and representatives to ensure adequate coverage of personnel needs.
*Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

*Create and or maintain databases and spreadsheets to measure the success of recruitment.

  • *3-5 years of specialized recruitment and/or staffing experience preferred.

    *Effective interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
    *Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

    *Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
    *Demonstrated high attention to detail
    *Ability to work with diverse groups
    *Demonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgement and professionalism
    *Ability to work with minimal supervision and guidance, exercising discretion and independent judgement
    *Understanding and ability to use continuous improvement tools
    *Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
    *Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
    *Working knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office products
    *Knowledge of Social Media sites (LinkedIn, etc.)


    Education:

    Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred, or combination of education and experience as approved by management.


    Geographical Location: Hybrid (T,W,TH in office, remote M/F)


    Physical Location: Hybrid - Arizona

    Work Schedule: 8:00-5:00
