Job Title: Senior Manager, Internal Medicine, Established Brands and Women's Health
Location: New York, NY, Hybrid Duration: 12 months with potential extension Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Medical Affairs Senior Manager Contractor to support a dynamic and fast-paced Medical Affairs organization. This role will function as a strategic medical affairs partner, providing scientific and operational support across a broad portfolio of established products and therapeutic areas, including women's health initiatives. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of independence, managing diverse medical affairs activities that may include scientific content development, medical review, safety assessments, labeling support, cross-functional collaboration, and other key medical affairs responsibilities. Given the breadth of the portfolio, this position requires an individual who is adaptable, proactive, analytical, and capable of quickly navigating changing priorities. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished medical affairs professional seeking broad exposure across a large pharmaceutical organization while contributing to meaningful healthcare initiatives. Key Responsibilities * Support Medical Affairs activities across a diverse portfolio of products and therapeutic areas. * Provide scientific and medical expertise to support business-critical projects and initiatives. * Review and evaluate medical and scientific content for accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical, Safety, Regulatory, Clinical Development, Commercial, and Global stakeholders. * Contribute to medical review processes, safety assessments, and labeling-related activities as needed. * Develop and maintain medical content, scientific communications, and supporting documentation. * Analyze and interpret scientific literature, clinical data, and healthcare trends to inform medical strategies. * Participate in internal medical discussions and provide evidence-based recommendations. * Serve as a trusted scientific partner while managing multiple projects simultaneously. * Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive operational efficiency within Medical Affairs. Required Qualifications * Doctorate-level degree required: o PharmD o PhD o MD o Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) o Or equivalent terminal healthcare/scientific degree * Minimum of 2 years of relevant Medical Affairs experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry. * Strong scientific and clinical acumen with the ability to interpret and communicate complex medical information. * Experience collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. * Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. * Strong project management and organizational capabilities. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications * Experience in pharmaceutical Medical Affairs, either at headquarters or within Field Medical organizations. * Prior experience supporting established brands, product lifecycle management, scientific communications, content development, or medical review activities. * Previous Client's experience or familiarity with pharmaceutical fellowship programs. * Pharmacy, industry, or Medical Affairs fellowship experience. * Experience in Women's Health is a plus, but not required. * Candidates with both Medical Affairs and Women's Health experience are strongly encouraged to apply. | |
