You'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Supports the development and execution of the resiliency strategy for the Payments Enablement Platform, ensuring critical payment services remain resilient, recoverable, and compliant with regulatory expectations.
- Acts as deputy to the Platform Resiliency Lead and serves as the primary point of coordination for day-to-day resiliency activities across Payments technology, operations, product, risk, and business stakeholders.
- Leads execution of resiliency programs, including dependency management, recovery planning, resilience testing, scenario exercises, threat-informed testing, and remediation management.
- Coordinates response efforts during major incidents affecting critical payment services and supports post-incident analysis, corrective action tracking, executive reporting, and regulatory communications.
- Oversees resiliency governance processes, ensuring risks, issues, audit findings, and regulatory commitments are appropriately documented, tracked, and remediated.
- Supports engagement with regulators, internal audit, Operational Risk, Compliance, and Enterprise Resiliency functions regarding resiliency capabilities, testing results, and program maturity.
- Drives resiliency initiatives supporting critical payment infrastructures, financial market utilities, and payment networks, including SWIFT, Fedwire, CHIPS, RTP, FedNow, and related payment ecosystem dependencies.
- Maintains platform resiliency inventories, critical service mappings, recovery strategies, impact assessments, and supporting documentation necessary to demonstrate operational resilience.
- Develops executive-level reporting, committee materials, regulatory submissions, and management updates related to platform resiliency performance and readiness.
- Partners with engineering and architecture teams to ensure resiliency requirements are incorporated into platform design, change management, and technology modernization initiatives.
- Coordinates global resiliency activities across multiple regions and supports development of a strong resiliency culture through training, awareness, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Experience leading operational resiliency, business continuity, recovery, risk, or technology resilience programs within financial services.
- Strong understanding of payment systems, critical business services, operational resilience frameworks, technology recovery, and incident management.
- Experience working with regulators, auditors, and senior executives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across global organizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing executive and regulatory materials.
