The Support Services Business Unit is seeking a Marketing Coordinator in Portland, OR.

At David Evans and Associates, Inc. (DEA), marketing is more than producing proposals. We help shape the infrastructure that strengthens communities across the Western US.

As a Marketing Coordinator on our Oregon team, you'll collaborate with engineers, planners, scientists, surveyors, and business development professionals to help win meaningful work in transportation, water and environment, energy, land development, marine services, and surveying and geomatics.

What You'll Do Key Responsibilities: Business Development and Marketing
  • Coordinate and produce high-quality proposals, statements of qualifications (SOQs), presentations, and marketing materials for public and private sector clients.
  • Collaborate with marketers, business developers, project managers, and technical staff to develop winning pursuit strategies.
  • Conduct client, competitor, and market research to identify trends, opportunities, and strategic insights.
  • Support client relationship development and business development planning.
  • Help maintain and manage a healthy pipeline of pursuits in collaboration with regional marketing and business development teams.
  • Coordinate pursuit schedules, meetings, deadlines, and deliverables while managing multiple concurrent priorities.
  • Assist with interview preparation, presentation materials, and other client-facing marketing initiatives.
Marketing Operations
  • Maintain accurate client and pursuit information within Deltek Vision CRM and other marketing databases.
  • Coordinate trade show logistics, conference materials, award submissions, visibility initiatives, and branded marketing collateral.
  • Support monthly resume updates, project descriptions, and other marketing resources.
  • Partner with the Shared Marketing Services team to support additional regions and special projects as needed.
Team Support
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Assistant to support operational activities including expense reconciliation, invoice processing, workload reporting, data management, and other administrative marketing functions.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge, supporting teammates, and continuously improving marketing processes.
What You Bring Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, English, Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat, and Photoshop or a willingness to quickly develop proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Up to three years of professional marketing experience.
  • Experience within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.
  • Familiarity with Oregon clients and infrastructure markets.
  • Experience using Deltek Vision CRM or similar customer relationship management software.
  • Exposure to alternative delivery methods including Design-Build, Progressive Design-Build, GCCM/CMGC, or Public-Private Partnerships (P3).
