Qualifications EDUCATION Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a B.S. or PharmD degree EXPERIENCE Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency or equivalent experience is desirable, but not required. Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred. LICENSURE Current Connecticut Pharmacist License, or eligible for pharmacist licensure in the state of Connecticut SPECIAL SKILLS This individual should demonstrate basic knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics, and understand pharmacy systems of drug distribution and formulary management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with others are required. YNHHS Requisition ID 188214 Position Overview This is a full-time Clinical Oncology Pharmacist position for the medical oncology team. This position will primarily cover outpatient medical oncology services rotating between New Haven and North Haven infusion sites (55 Park Street, New Haven North Pavilion 8 - Smilow main campus and 6 Devine Street, North Haven). The working schedule of this position is Monday through Friday day shift with occasional weekend, on call, and holiday rotation as department needs dictate. | |
