Job Title: Graphic Designer
Location: Washington, D.C.
Job Description

We are looking for an experienced graphic designer to join a fast-paced team that creates and publishes long-form reports, marketing and eventcollateral, award certificates, and other visual materials for print and digital usage.Applicants will need to have experience providing graphics specifically createdto support therequirements ofindividual projectsacross various mediums,in addition to laying out dense contentand nuanced datain a short amount of time.


Submission of an online portfolio with your application isrequired.


Your portfolio must show range across:




  • Long-form print/report design






  • Digital assets-social media graphics, digital banners




Aesthetic Direction




  • Contemporary, modern-not 2D drop shadows, embossing, or dated lettering effects






  • Clean, academic, prestigious tone






  • Good useof negative space



Education and Background

  • Degree in graphic design or related field.

7+ years
Required Skills


  • Advancedexpertisein Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft OfficeSuite.






  • Highly skilled on a Mac platform.






  • Strong knowledge of508-compliance.






  • Ability to create infographics based on descriptions of complex financial data and/or content.






  • Familiarity with industry-standard applicationsfor developing print-, digital-, and web-baseddeliverables.






  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlinesand schedules.






  • Availability to work beyond normal working hours, including holidays, if needed.






  • Excellent communication organizational skills.

Working Conditions
Onsite in Washington, D.C. 5 times a week, working regular business hours.
$90,000 - $95,000 a year
