The Senior Total Rewards Analyst supports the design, administration, analysis, and continuous improvement of Travere's total rewards programs, including compensation, benefits, wellness, leave of absence, and related systems and processes. This role partners closely with People Success, HRIS, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to deliver accurate, compliant, and employee-centered total rewards programs.
The role provides analytical and operational support for annual compensation planning, job architecture, market benchmarking, pay and equity programs, benefits administration, open enrollment, wellness programs, leave administration, reporting, and executive compensation materials. The Senior Total Rewards Analyst helps ensure Travere's rewards programs are competitive, scalable, compliant, and aligned with business needs and enhance the employee experience.
Responsibilities:
Compensation, Job Architecture, and Rewards Programs
- Facilitate the execution of annual compensation planning process, including system testing, data validation, reporting, development of communications, and partnership with HRIS and People Success stakeholders.
- Actively contribute to the promotion and job change processes, including review of job leveling, compensation recommendations, and related documentation.
- Review new and updated job descriptions to support compliance, consistency, inclusiveness, and alignment with job architecture.
- Develop and maintain total rewards resources, including salary and equity guidelines, offer development tools, manager resources, and key communications.
- Contributes to compensation program administration, including base pay, incentive, equity, and recognition-related processes.
- Helps to ensure compensation programs and practices comply with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including FLSA, pay transparency, and other applicable requirements.
- Support implementation and the ongoing administration of global job architecture.
Benefits, Wellness, and Leave Administration
- Contribute to benefits program administration, including open enrollment planning, testing, communications, vendor coordination, billing, and ongoing employee support.
- Support wellness program operations, including Espresa administration, funding, implementation of new functionality, communications, and reporting.
- Coordinate leave of absence administration with outsourced vendors, Payroll, managers, People Success Partners, and employees as appropriate.
- Maintain leave tracking and coordinate leave-related pay and benefits deductions with Payroll.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve benefits, wellness, and leave-related issues in a timely and employee-centered manner.
Data Management, Market Analysis, and Benchmarking
- Participate in regular industry and geographic compensation and benefits surveys, including Radford/Aon and other relevant sources.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify trends, assess competitiveness, and inform compensation and total rewards recommendations.
- Prepare quantitative and qualitative analyses, dashboards, and recurring metrics to support total rewards decision-making.
- Provide data and support for Board of Directors and Compensation Committee materials, including annual analytics, CEO pay ratio data, and other required reporting.
- Partner closely with Payroll to prepare documentation related to compensation, benefits, equity, deductions, and other total rewards programs.
- Use Workday and other systems to maintain accurate total rewards data, support reporting needs, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Process Improvement, Compliance, and Cross-Functional Partnership
- Identify opportunities to improve total rewards processes, tools, reporting, and communications to increase efficiency, accuracy, scalability, competitiveness, and employee experience.
- Partner with HRIS on Workday Compensation, Advanced Compensation, benefits, and reporting enhancements, including testing, validation, and implementation support.
- Support development and maintenance of policies, procedures, audit materials, and documentation to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with People Success colleagues, Payroll, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and external vendors to deliver high-quality total rewards support.
- Leverage technology, data, and AI tools where appropriate to support research, analytics, project work, and process improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field required. Equivalent combination of education and applicable work experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 3+ years of relevant total rewards, compensation, benefits, HR operations, or related experience required;
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, or a similar industry strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of compensation practices, benefits administration, FLSA standards, pay transparency regulations, equity programs, DOL compliance requirements, and related employment laws.
- Prior experience with compensation planning, market benchmarking, job leveling, job architecture, benefits administration, and HRIS/reporting tools preferred.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP), SHRM, or similar certification preferred.

- Experience working with HRIS systems; Workday Compensation and Advanced Compensation experience highly preferred.
- Knowledge of AI tools and ability to leverage technology for research, analytics, reporting, and project support.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and multitasking skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization and within the People Success team.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes in project plans and implement new strategies or tactics as needed.
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
- All positions have an essential job function to perform face-to-face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego. No role is expected to be 100% remote.

Target Base Pay Range: $95,000.00 - $124,000.00
