Job Description




As a Security Officer - Corporate Campus Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional supporting a dynamic commercial real estate office location. In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to tenants and visitors. Working with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and well-managed environment.

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and building surroundings while assisting with badge checks, directions, and other lobby or property-related support functions.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports on incidents, daily activities, and/or property conditions, and relay relevant information to supervisors and authorized site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
