Our Residential Patrol Officer helps monitor and patrol a private community by vehicle and on foot, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document security-related concerns according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter access points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and/or neighborhood access points while observing for suspicious behavior, rule violations, and other security-related issues that may require follow-up.
• Communicate with residents, property management, and/or local emergency personnel regarding incidents, access concerns, and other security-related matters as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Must be able to ride a bike.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
