Requirements Pediatrix is seeking a Board-Certified Neonatologist to join our growing team at Mary Immaculate Hospital in Newport News, Virginia. This established practice includes three neonatologists and two NNPs, providing high-quality care in a collaborative environment. Position Highlights 8-bed Level IIIA NICU with an active newborn service 1,800 annual deliveries and increasing Exciting future expansion: a new 47,000 sq. ft. BirthPlace, including a relocated NICU with 13 single-occupancy NICU beds Responsibilities include prenatal consultations, NICU and newborn coverage, and delivery attendance Balanced coverage model with a mix of in-house and at-home call, supported by experienced NNPs and PAs Each neonatologist covers one-third of monthly shifts, allowing for flexible scheduling and a healthy work-life balance Opportunities available for quality improvement initiatives, administrative roles, and regional collaboration Leadership experience preferred J-1 visa sponsorship available About Mary Immaculate Hospital Mary Immaculate Hospital is part of Bon Secours Mercy Health, one of the largest neonatology service providers in the Mid-Atlantic region.
