Position Summary

The Marketing Communications Specialist executes the delivery of global STERIS AST communications that strengthen business performance and unify teams across the full product and service offering. The role focuses on creating, refining, and distributing content across communications channels; coordinating key events; and partnering with crossfunctional teams to ensure clear, consistent messaging that supports the segment's strategic objectives, Business Imperatives, and OTOG Values.

What You'll Do as a Marketing Communications Specialist
  1. With guidance from direct manager, support the execution of communications strategies and campaigns
  2. Collaborate with direct manager and business functions to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with company objectives
  3. Design and distribute communications collateral such as presentations, infographics, brochures, sell sheets, white papers, and video content
  4. Create and distribute content for newsletters, website copy, emails, and other communications channels
  5. Organize and support internal and external events such as seminars/training, trade shows, town hall meetings, and Customer/employee engagement events
  6. Evaluate and analyze the effectiveness of communication initiatives and recommend improvements
  7. Manage contact lists to ensure effective delivery of communications
  8. Promote the OTOG culture through effective communications, both internally and externally
  9. Provide marketing collateral translations
  10. Support internal initiatives that deliver external impact, including:
    • Brandgility platform for branding resources and internal signage
    • STERIS AST inbox and lead management, and lead distribution to sales
    • Customer survey support, including survey distribution and forwarding of responses
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or other appropriate field
  • 1-3 years diverse B2B communications experience which includes a broad range of both traditional and digital communications work

Other:

  • Strong communicator, able to write and present clear, effective, logical arguments.
  • Exceptional project manager adept at managing high volume, complexity, fluidity and ambiguity while maintaining professional poise and delivering on commitments.
  • Creative problem solver and accomplished "doer."
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into clear, credible, compelling communications programs.
  • Supreme collaborator, able to negotiate between multiple and varied stakeholders; recruit supporters; and manage by influence/persuasion.
  • Flexible and adaptable with consummate good humor.

Pay range for this opportunity is$59,075.00-$76,450.00.This position is eligible for bonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
