Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Product Manager providing support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center-Ground Base Air Defense Sensor division (AFLCMC/ESG).

The ESG Division manages efforts focused on developing, acquiring, fielding and sustaining programs that support worldwide communications, Battle Management, Command & Control, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C2ISR), Air/Ground Surveillance, Time Critical Targeting, Combat Identification, Radar Imagery, Integrated Air/Missile Defense, and Mobile/Fixed C2ISR Performance, Exploitation & Dissemination Facilities.


This is a full-time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base in Bedford, Massachusetts.



Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

    Assist in developing a deep understanding of internal and external customers/stakeholders and their use cases.
  • Assist in the definition, monitoring, and communication of key performance indicators (KPI)'s for your product area.
  • Assist in the creation of the product roadmap process, including defining the sequence of the roadmap an assuring that the initiatives within the roadmap align with the appropriate corresponding business objectives and metrics.
  • Assist in defining and documenting product specifications and user stories to enable efficient implementation of new or enhanced features.
  • Assist in building strong relationships with all levels throughout the organization, ensuring transparency across our roadmaps, managing trade-offs, driving organizational alignment, and maximizing business value while minimizing risks.
  • Partner closely with data analysts, data scientists, engineers, Creative/UX/UI, and product teammates to execute against our roadmap objectives.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative data to continually improve our product in ways that matter most to our users and have the biggest impact on our KPIs.


Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

Education: BA/BS Degree

Years of Experience: 10 years of directly related experience with 5 years of experience in a DoD setting

  • Demonstrated experience working directly with modern software applications in the AF Standard
  • Desktop Configuration, including hands-on use of Power BI tools and relevant intelligence platforms.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop practical, effective solutions within established program or project constraints.
  • Full life-cycle software development experience-from concept and architecture through detailed design, implementation, testing, documentation, delivery, and sustainment-applied specifically to DoD systems.
  • Strong grounding in professional software engineering practices, including coding standards, peer code reviews, source control workflows, automated build processes, technical documentation, and configuration management principles.
  • Ability and willingness to actively build, analyze, test, and deliver software and technical products-not just guide or oversee work performed by others.

Location: Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA but has the ability to be worked remotely
