Position Summary / Department Summary
New social work position (30 hrs.) needed to provide a range of clinical social work services to children, adolescents, and families in the Child Protection Program (CPP) at Boston Children's Hospital, with a focus on psychosocial support, assessment, advocacy, and consultation for children and families affected by suspected child maltreatment. Established in 1970, the CPP's core goal is to ensure that children suspected of being maltreated receive appropriate medical care, psychosocial support, and advocacy to address immediate medical and safety needs. The Child Protection Team provides 24/7 on-call coverage, expert consultation services, case-specific support, and professional training to hospital staff on issues of child maltreatment. This position is eligible for full-time benefits Schedule is M 8:30am-2pm, W/TH/F 8:30am-5pm This position also requires on call evenings and weekends as part of the regular rotation New hires are eligible for a $3,750 sign-on bonus! The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
