Temporary Position Summary
The CPS Energy Internship Program is designed to meet the industry's rapidly changing workforce needs by providing local San Antoniocollegestudents with public utility career experience. Through the internship program students are paired with a mentor toacquiremeaningful hands-on experience that expands their understanding of how the industry works and exposes them to essential skills they mustacquireor develop to be successful. The internship is not only meant for the intern to learn how to perform, but to also understand the rationale behind the strategies that are being used. The Middleware college Intern will support the Middleware team in documenting, monitoring, analyzing, and improving integration processes that connect business applications, vendors, databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to integration technologies such as IBM MQ, IBM ACE, APIs, file transfers, certificates, monitoring tools, and modern iPaaS platforms such as Azure Logic Apps, Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, or API Gateway solutions. Minimum Skills
Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Must be currently enrolled in a related discipline.
A minimum GPA of 2.5.
Must currently reside within 120 miles of CPS Energy Headquarters.
Demonstrated leadership potential.

Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrate an interest in a career applicable to the utility industry.
