Your Role

The Director of Strategic Planning and Performance leads the development, evolution, and alignment of the enterprise strategy. This role ensures strategic coherence across all business lines while accounting for marketspecific needs and drives clear stopstartcontinue decisions and enterpriselevel tradeoffs. The Director serves as the endtoend owner of the Strategy Committee and supports Boardlevel strategy discussions as needed.

As a key member of the Corporate Strategy & Insights leadership team, this individual partners closely with Finance, Annual Planning, EPVO, and Operations to ensure strategy, funding, roadmaps, and execution remain tightly connected. The role also oversees the monitoring of strategic performance through defined metrics and dashboards, proactively identifying risks, gaps, or misalignment across the strategic portfolio. This position will report to the Sr. Director of Health Plan Strategy.

Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree; master's degree strongly preferred
  • Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience in Corporate Strategy, Strategic Planning, Management Consulting or a related field including 6 years of people management experience
  • Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience in healthcare; payors preferred
  • Demonstrated experience designing and implementing strategic frameworks, planning processes, or decisionmaking models
  • Proven ability to manage executivelevel forums or governance bodies, including preparation of materials and facilitation of decision processes
  • Experience integrating strategy with financial planning, resource allocation, and operational execution
  • Handson experience developing and managing strategic performance dashboards, KPIs, or scorecards

Hybrid

This role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.

Employees living more than 50 miles from an office location will work with their manager to determine in-office time based on business need.
