About the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology The Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology offers three different degree programs, which include a BS in Criminal Justice and Criminology, BS in Cybersecurity, and MS in Cybersecurity. Our programs seek to prepare professionals who are critically educated, socially intelligent, ethically aware, and culturally sensitive. Our diverse team consists of 12 full-time faculty with various professional and research backgrounds, two dedicated and talented staff members, and a group of part-time affiliate faculty with a depth of industry experience. Faculty and staff in the department lead and serve students with humanity, equity, and inclusivity. Position Summary The Department of Criminal Justice & Criminology (CJC) at MSU Denver is seeking an Office Manager and Events Coordinator. The Office Manager and Events Coordinator reports to the CJC department chair to provide comprehensive administrative support, event coordination, and student employment management for the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology, serving as the primary point of contact for department operations and communications. This position works with the Department Operations Manager and Cybersecurity Program Manager to ensure efficient and integrated departmental procedures that serves a BS in Criminal Justice and Criminology, BS in Cybersecurity, MS in Cybersecurity, and Cybersecurity Graduate Certificates. Salary for Announcement Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. The anticipated hiring range that the university reasonably expects to pay for this position is $53,000 - $59,550. This position is paid monthly and is eligible for MSU Denver benefits.
