The Title Assistant job family supports a broad range of administrative and operational duties tied to residential, commercial, and industrial title processes. In this role, employees help keep title transactions moving by gathering and organizing information, responding to inquiries, reviewing data, and validating documents for accuracy and completeness.

Title Assistants provide essential customer service to external clients, field escrow offices, and internal title teams. This position may be located in a production center, branch office, or embedded within a title team, and may serve as a key liaison between multiple parties to help coordinate the resolution and completion of title-related tasks.

This role may also support specialized functions within the title process, depending on business needs. As employees build experience, they gain the skills and confidence to complete most assigned tasks with minimal instruction while continuing to contribute to a collaborative, service-focused office environment.

This position is based in office in Chico, CA.

HOW YOU'LL CONTRIBUTE

  • Performs a wide range of administrative duties that require experience, skill and knowledge of title policies and practices.

  • Creates and maintains files, records and reports; monitor and track workflow

  • Responds to inquiries and gathers information to resolve issues and complete the title process. Communicates information and prepares documentation and reports

  • Communicates with internal and external groups

  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years title industry experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

  • Experience with MS Office suite

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills

  • Able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times

  • Strong detail orientation

  • Customer service orientation

  • Exercises good judgment

  • Working knowledge of company and/or client operating systems

Pay Range: $20.31 - $27.09 Hourly This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
