Job Description:

The Associate CoBrand Portfolio Program Manager leads customer marketing campaigns, strategic initiatives, and communications to drive retail sales, strengthen engagement, and support portfolio growth. They'll partner cross functionally to deliver digital marketing strategies and optimize performance across a high visibility, multi billion dollar product. This role collaborates with internal Teams and external bank partners to execute initiatives that enhance Customer experience and retention. The Associate CoBrand Portfolio Program Manager provides clear performance insights to Leadership and plays a key role in driving revenue and long term program success.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee customer marketing and campaign strategy and communications to generate net retail sales delivered via key online/digital channels, or other channels such as Cardmember newsletter, partner or call center initiatives, events and direct mail
  • Monitor and report on campaign key performance indicators (KPIs) and digital metrics to inform strategies, including opt-in rates, site and page traffic, click-through rates, conversion rates, overall funnel analyses, and digital optimization efforts to increase net retail sales
  • Develop strategies for customer retention and engagement, to monitor, enhance and report KPIs that are unique to a financial services program health such as customer spend, Spend/Cardmember, save rates, month on book lifecycle, attrition, NPS, debit active rate, etc.
  • Lead creative briefings for promotional campaigns and testing initiatives, delivering strategic business goals, campaign KPIs and relevant legal and partner guidance to creative teams in a clear and concise manner
  • Support and collaborate on cardmember experiential planning and communications, oversee third-party vendors, create event communications, and engage customers on-site at events
  • Serve as lead for cardmember servicing
  • Determine and oversee requests for analytics, customer insights, testing, and competitive tactics to suggest innovative opportunities to leaders for review, input and execution, driving to higher opt-in rates, save rates, net sales and other KPIs
  • Build relationships with team members at Southwest and issuing bank partners in order to inspire, influence, collaborate, and gain alignment to exceed portfolio goals
  • Lead strategic portfolio initiatives, in collaboration with internal and external partners, to deliver incremental engagement and net sales for enhanced portfolio growth
  • Communicate campaign or initiative status and results regularly, or via structured presentations to senior marketing leaders, telling a compelling and relevant story with a well-thought-out point of view, recommendations, poise, and confidence
  • Partner with financial planning teams to prepare financial business cases, develop forecasts and monitor progress
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of customer marketing, including online/digital channels such as desktop and mobile marketing, website/ecommerce, social media, as well as direct mail, and/or email marketing
  • Knowledge of product marketing and marketing strategy
  • Skilled in developing business cases and building a marketing/strategic plan
  • Skilled in partner management and relationship-building
  • Knowledge of financial services and/or the credit card industry
  • Skilled in communicating effectively by listening intently, questioning appropriately, and articulating clearly in both written and verbal formats
  • Skilled in strategic thinking with the ability to see the big picture
  • Skilled in analytics and problem-solving with a focus on KPI and performance management
  • Ability to gain commitment to shared goals with peers, team, external partner and Marketing department
  • Ability to demonstrate high emotional intelligence in various situations dealing with both internal and external resources
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
  • Intermediate level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in:
    • Customer marketing
    • Portfolio management
    • Digital product marketing, to include online email and/or direct mail

  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job

Other Qualifications
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $81,200 per year to $90,200 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
