We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Infrastructure Cost & Product Economics to join our Technology Services Group (TSG) team. This role is in NY/NJ, LM or Pittsburgh. The role partners closely with Infrastructure Service Delivery Groups, Product Managers, Service Owners, Finance, and IT Asset Management teams to enhance volume forecasting accuracy, cost transparency, and operational insights/reporting-especially as the organization scales Public Cloud and AI infrastructure. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: *Lead technology infrastructure cost transparency and unit costing methodologies using Apptio, ensuring infrastructure and platform costs are accurately aligned to products and services through disciplined cost management practices. *Partner with Service Owners, Product Managers, Finance, and Engineering teams to analyze, validate, and communicate service cost structures, including direct, indirect, and vendor costs across infrastructure platform. *Document, standardize, and improve infrastructure volume forecasting processes to support budget planning, rate setting, and product cost modeling. *Translate business needs into clearly defined functional requirements to enhance cost, volume, and usage reporting, automation, and overall process effectiveness. *Collaborate with IT Asset Management and FinOps teams to define requirements for capturing usage and volume data, supporting current and future initiatives, including Public Cloud and AI infrastructure. *Prepare and deliver senior management-ready reporting and presentations, including KPIs, unit cost trends, cost drivers, and external benchmarking analysis. *Drive continuous improvement across cost and operational processes, delivering actionable insights while ensuring alignment with infrastructure cost transparency, FinOps, and broader strategic initiatives. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $83,000 and $155,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. | |
