Position Summary:
The Vice President of Walmart Customer Team is responsible for the profitable growth of Bimbo USA interests throughout the United States and is expected to design, develop, and execute the Walmart Customer strategy and vision. Build a world class Joint Business Planning process inclusive of all formats and business interests, (Supercenter, Neighborhood, D1, Spark).Working and leading in tandem with Brand and Digital Marketing Teams, Sales Enablement, IT Data Integration, Sales Operations, Supply Chain Planning, Revenue Growth Management, and Field Retail Execution.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Move Bimbo USA to a leadership voice in the space of "Tomorrow Retailing", leveraging our investment in technology and next generation DC and Breadth of Sales Operations reach as a supply chain competitive advantage - It is paramount that Bimbo USA be a leadership voice in the DSD Technology Space with Walmart.
- Partner to Win with all Sales Operations Regional Vice Presidents to deliver profitable growth via Walmart in every Region individually and collectively.
- Partner to Win with all Brand and Digital Marketing Team Leaders to develop best in class campaigns, new products, and digital presence through an extended partnership with Walmart Connect.
- Responsible for consistency in BU customer planning and analysis - KPIs, ROI, Trade Effectiveness, scorecards, dashboards and forecasts.
- Deliver business objectives across Units, Dollars, Share, and Realization consistently.
- Creates a welcoming environment in collaboration with the BARCEL Team, and Grupo Bimbo to ensure maximum utilization of total resources and scale leverage.
- Specifically, creating a working business model of influence with Walmart Merchants, Walmart Scintilla, Walmart Connect, Walmart Spark and Walmart DSD Ops)
- Leadership skills that inspire and encourage outstanding performance in a high functioning unit of proven industry professionals.Must be a Player Coach mentality with the ability to teach and develop, while equally leveraging a total team experience convergence.Bringing varying talents to the collective team output.
- Represent with executive presence but with an entrepreneurial mindset of getting things done, versus getting things socialized.This role will have a loud voice of influence given the business representation of this customer and must be able to succinctly articulate the facts, position, and recommendations to senior leaders in the company. - Maintain Category Captain Status and provide greater internal category insights.
- Build a stronger working group with Bimbo Canada Walmart and Mexico Walmart and U.S. Walmart Customer teams - sharing best practices and information.

Education and Work History:
- Bachelor's degree in business management or marketing, MBA preferred.
Ideal candidate will possess:
- 10-12 years management experience, including time in a VP Level Role, in all aspects of Food/Beverages sales, planning or relevant responsibilities in comparable industry.
- Experience leading salaried associates with team responsibility.
- Exceptional knowledge and history of accomplishments in sales and customer roles.
- Proven track record of effective leadership including people development.
- Requires excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively negotiate and influence others.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and planning skills.
- Computer skills and proficiency, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word are required, strong technology aptitude.
- Travel is required - 50 %.
