Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a midlevel associate to join its Real Property practice group in Seattle, Portland, Anchorage or Washington, D.C. This attorney will support the firm's construction and design practice, handling both transactional matters and litigation involving commercial and public construction and design contracts. The role includes assisting clients with a high volume of construction and design contract transactions as well as public and private claims and dispute-related work. The successful candidate will be comfortable drafting and negotiating construction agreements with limited supervision and will have experience supporting or handling construction-related litigation matters. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate's education, training, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a bonus and health insurance with an optional HSA, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), vacation, sick time, 10 paid holidays each year and an employee assistance program. For full-time employees, the initial sick leave benefit is 80 hours of sick leave per year. Attorneys generally take approximately three weeks of vacation from work each year, and it may vary depending on the needs of the clients and the firm. Additional voluntary benefits programs include voluntary accident insurance, voluntary life, voluntary disability, voluntary long-term care, and pet insurance.
