As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations with strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will assist visitors and staff, respond to site needs, and represent a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and public areas, assist with directing foot traffic, and support orderly entry and exit procedures consistent with site rules and operational needs.
• Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, suspicious activity, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
