As a Security Guard Courthouse Patrol in Riverside, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support daily court-related operations through strong communication, customer service, and professionalism. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, public areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and screen for unusual behavior, restricted area concerns, and/or prohibited activity while following post orders, visitor protocols, and applicable location procedures.
• Support daily courthouse-related operations by providing directions, assisting with orderly movement of visitors, and communicating clearly with staff, vendors, and/or public agency personnel regarding security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
