IMEG is hiring a Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer in Chicago, IL, to support commissioning efforts that verify building systems are designed, installed, and operating in alignment with project requirements and performance goals. In this role, you will help lead project planning, document review, field verification, testing, and issue resolution while partnering with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, high-performing outcomes. You'll also support coordination and documentation across project phases to help keep commissioning activities organized and effective. Electrical Commissioning Team Highlights * Manage and lead commissioning activities in accordance with ASHRAE Guideline 0 and Standard 202 requirements, including review of electrical designs, development of pre-functional checklists and functional performance tests, equipment installation review, review of equipment integrity tests performed per NETA acceptance testing standards, execution of functional performance tests, and issue management for power distribution systems, emergency power systems, fire alarm systems, and lighting controls systems. Locations available: Chicago, IL State of Illinois Salary Range: $120,000- $140,000 Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
