Department (OPH) CCH - Division of EpidemiologyJob Description: Responsibilities The Evaluation Specialist II will help strengthen infection prevention and control efforts across Western New York by contributing toward the transformation of complex surveillance and outbreak data from Article 28 healthcare facilities into meaningful insights. This position will work closely with regional epidemiologists to identify reporting gaps and support data-driven decision-making. Duties include:
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics or a related field and two years of experience in the evaluation and/or analysis of health, human services or related programs and/or fields; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. Preferred Qualifications
Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Travel up to 25% of the time will be required. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire. Work Location Expectations At HRI, the nature of hybrid and onsite work varies by position. Some roles require full onsite presence, while others allow a hybrid schedule.
