Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions in accordance with site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery processing while following site rules for restricted and sensitive areas.
• Carry authorized armed post equipment in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and local requirements, maintaining professional readiness and supporting security-related response activities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
