Job Summary

The Demand Planner 3 is responsible for supporting forecasting, demand planning, and inventory strategies to ensure alignment with business goals and seasonal product needs. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to analyze sales trends, forecast future demand, and support stock planning activities. The position requires strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel skills, and hands-on experience in forecasting and planning within a fast-paced environment. The Demand Planner will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting business continuity during a temporary coverage period.

Job Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and business inputs.
  • Support seasonal planning activities, including stock and sales forecasting.
  • Analyze sales performance and inventory levels to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on demand planning strategies and business priorities.
  • Utilize advanced Excel tools to manage data, build models, and generate insights.
  • Support planning processes by identifying gaps and recommending solutions.
  • Assist with inventory management to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Communicate forecast updates, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple planning activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of forecasting and planning processes.


Job Requirements



  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with forecasting and demand planning processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive and adaptable approach.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP preferred.
  • Experience in retail, apparel, or consumer goods industries preferred.


Education



  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.


Work Experience



  • 5+ years of relevant experience in demand planning, forecasting, or related fields.
