Position Purpose The Receiving Lead is responsible for overseeing all inbound operations during 2nd shift. This role requires accurate, timely and efficient receipt of goods while maintaining all inbound process and procedures for 2nd shift receiving forklift associates. The Receiving lead is responsible for inventory accuracy, ensures OSHA compliance and workplace safety. Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities Coordinate all receiving activities during 2^nd shift Lead, train, and support all 2nd shift receiving forklift drivers Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips Ensure proper documentation and system entry (SAP WM) Inspect shipments for damage, quality, and accuracy Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments Resolve discrepancies, shortages, and damages Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed Enforce company policies and OSHA safety standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist the leaker department with put-away duties and pour up process Education, Skills, and Abilities High school diploma/GED required Previous warehouse experience 3-4 years Attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of SAP & Excel Bi-Lingual Preferred Comfortable working independently Teamwork, Dependable, and Reliable Forklift certified This opportunity offers a competitive benefits package including: Medical, dental, and vision coverage with wellness benefits Company-matching 401(k) plan Company-paid life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment benefits Company-paid long-term care coverage Company-paid disability Flexible spending and health savings accounts Company-paid employee assistance program Paid time off and paid holidays Additional benefits included: voluntary life insurance, legal benefits, critical illness, accident insurance, and pet insurance Old World Industries is among the largest privately held companies competing in the automotive aftermarket today.
