Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:

  • Ability to install and remove covers and inspections plates.
  • Adjust bearings, ways, belts, dismantle equipment, and store as directed.
  • Service, maintain guard rails, casters, and wheels.
  • Assembles parts into complete assemblies, such as building benches, parts, racks, perform fabricating operations on the equipment by cutting material to size, drilling holes and threading pipe as directed.
  • Assists in loading and unloading equipment by operating lift trucks.
  • Ability to properly dispose of waste.
  • Makes minor repairs on equipment and checks functionality after repair.
  • Assist Maintenance A and Maintenance General Mechanics in other fields incidental and necessary to the completion of an assigned task.
  • Performs rework, repair and other associated operations relating to the work described.
  • Follow all Senior policies and procedure.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Key Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience:1-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar field.
  • Education:High school diploma or GED; technical school or vocational training is preferred.
  • Technical Skills:Basic understanding of industrial electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, Painting, Exterior Maintenance and Routine inspections.
  • Documentation:Ability to read and interpret basic diagrams, schematics, and blue prints.
  • Physical Ability:Capability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy equipment.
  • Safety:Knowledge of safety procedures, including OSHA, and ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Communication & Customer Service:Interacting professionally with clients to address concerns and explain repairs.
  • Tools:Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

Annual Target Salary = $83,200.00
