HDR is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services (BES) team in the Folsom or Walnut Creek, CA office. The ideal candidate should have a proven background in successfully delivering projects ranging from upfront planning and pre-design activities through detailed design and construction. This individual will be responsible for the site civil engineering design of facilities in support of a variety of markets that may include Technology, Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Power, Federal, Corporate/Commercial, Education and/or Healthcare. This individual should be self-motivated, collaborative and possess strong leadership skills with an initiative to deliver high quality, technically sound engineering designs.

The individual must be highly motivated and will be the site civil engineering lead on multiple multi-disciplinary projects and may be called to manage projects that have a predominantly civil engineering focus. They will be expected to coordinate and work closely with a multidiscipline design team throughout the entire life cycle of projects from planning stages, through the development of construction documents, and construction administration. They will be responsible for the development of construction drawings, specifications, and supporting engineering calculations, as well as the review of shop drawings during construction.
