Description Systems Integration Engineer - Senior Advisor Telecommunications Team \| Onsite in Herndon, VA In this role, you'll be driving the successful delivery of complex network infrastructure and software initiatives that support the nation's airspace. What You'll Do * Lead end-to-end program execution: Define, plan, and manage the full lifecycle of network infrastructure and software projects, from concept through deployment. * Drive cross-functional collaboration: Coordinate with RAN, hardware, software, and systems integration teams-plus external vendors-to deliver on schedule and at scale. * Own technical risk management: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, particularly in network deployments. * Translate strategy into action: Align technical deliverables with broader business objectives, operational priorities, and long-term timelines. * Communicate with impact: Provide clear, actionable status updates, dashboards, and briefings to stakeholders and Senior leadership. Top Skills' DetailsPosition Requirements: * Clearance: Must have a Public Trust clearance. * Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems is required. * Technical Experience: 12+ years of hands-on experience in network engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure planning. * Program Leadership: 5+ years leading complex, cross-functional projects, including large-scale or multi-million-dollar initiatives. * Networking Expertise: Strong command of core networking protocols, including BGP, TCP/IP, MPLS, and IPv6. * Infrastructure Knowledge: Experience with optical networking, data center environments, and server-level hardware deployments. * Cloud & Virtualization: Working knowledge of cloud networking across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Capacity & Financial Planning: Proven ability to model network growth, optimize capacity, and align technical decisions with budget con Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Herndon, VA.
